MP521X flight simulator

The MP521X is the ultimate aeronautical research/teaching tool - a sophisticated simulator which has the capability of a CAA qualified FNPT1 device, combined with the flight software of an Engineering Flight Simulator.

This enables the simulator may be used not only on courses with a PPL requirement, but may also be used in the teaching of stability and control, and aircraft design.

The MP521X is a single seat capsule mounted on a Bosch-Rexroth six axis hydraulic motion system.

Cockpit instruments are high definition computer graphics. The high quality three LCD visual provides peripheral visual cueing and height cues.

As an FNPT1:-

The aircraft model is configured as a low wing piston single engine type.

The visual scene has been specifically written in open GL to enable features to be added.

Custom built visual models for Gatwick, Heathrow, and Leeds/Bradford Airports.

A generic airfield model is used for any other departures or destinations.

Full navigation database for U.K. including beacon idents (audible in the pilot's headset). The navigation database and visual models can be extended to meet customer requirements.
