Merlin Flight Simulation Technologies Ltd . – manufactures the MPX FNPT1 Flight Training Device

This FNPT1 device utilises Merlin’s core applications software, proven on the Engineering Flight Simulators and has been designed especially for use in university courses which include a private pilots licence.

All instrument displays are LCD based graphical representations with bezel overlay containing the functional instrument control knobs.

Merlin’s Mirror visual is fitted to enhance the functionality of the MPX beyond that required for the basix FNPT1 requirement.

Merlin offers Wittenstein active controls (yoke, centre stick, and pedals) as options on the MPX.

Merlin’s Excalibur flight software can of course be fitted to the MPX, in addition to the qualified FNPT1 compliant software, thereby creating a dual purpose simulator providing both Flight Training and a flexible Aero Engineering Simulator.
